Electronics Recycling Event
The paper shredding and electronics recycling event will occur on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12 noon at the Washington Township Hall Parking Lot. The event is only open to Washington Township residents, and IDs will be checked. No commercial businesses are allowed. There is a maximum of 4 boxes for paper shredding.

High Tech Recycling LLC is the company handling the electronics recycling. They accept a variety of items, including:
- Computers and servers
- Laptops and tablets
- Computer monitors (LCD only)
- Printers and fax machines
- Toner cartridges
- Switches and routers
- Computer cords and cables
- Docking stations
- Keyboards and mice
- Phones and phone systems
- Cellular phones & accessories
- Digital cameras
- Cable boxes and modems
- Satellite receiver boxes
- DVD & VCR players
- Computer parts
- Game consoles
- Battery backups
We will not accept the following items:
- Alkaline or Ni-Cad batteries
- CRT TVs or monitors
- Speakers with wooden cabinets
- Projection TVs
- Light bulbs
